We live in a small village in the Argonne area of the French Ardennes, a charming green and peaceful region, full of cultural and historical interests.
We have a gîte rural available in a rural setting, the ground floor of whichis suitable for disabled people's use.
We can offer visitors the comfort of a detached house for 8-10 people, 3
stars.
Only dogs with disabled people are accepted in our holiday-house.
On the ground floor :
- We have a double bed with an bathroom en-suite and toilets for disabled people's use
- A kitchen with a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee-machine, an electric frier, a toaster, an iron and an ironing-board
- A large living-room with TV and video recorder, a hi-fi, a wood-burning stove
- A second bathroom with a washing-machine
- And a second independent toilet
On the first floor :
- One double bed
- Two rooms each with 2 single beds
- A mezzanine with a sofa-bed for 2 people
The gite has an electric heating system with convectors and we of course provide wood free of charge.
Holiday makers can choose from a range of activities available locally including :
- Hiking, fishing, bathing in the river (1 km from the gite)
- There are possible visits to Nocturnia museum which is dedicated to nocturnal animals
- The nearest town is Vouziers (15 km from the gite) : you will find a market, a swimming-pool and a cinema there. There are also everyday necessities in Vouziers such as doctors, chemists, supermarkets, and so on...
- Verdun is on the way (70 km from the gite), it is worth seeing its World War I museums
- Not very far away is Rheims, the city of coronations with its famous Champagne cellars- and regional gastronomy
- Go and visit our honeyhouse where you will learn everything about beekeeping and will taste different types of honey, toffees, chocolate or vanilla spreads, as well as hydromel...

It is possible to rent a bed accomodation for two persons (the bedroom on the ground in the gite) with or without breakfast.
The prices are 47 euros with breakfast or 44 euros without breakfast.
